As the primary communications channel for the Association, portagewoods.org relies on WordPress, the web’s most widely-used content management system. WordPress is customizable, secure, and [fairly] easy to get started with. This presents big opportunities:

Committees have announcements to publish and events to schedule. Our website is designed so Committee Chairs could create their own content for the website, and (importantly) to moderate their Committee’s forum page for questions and comments. Chairs need to opt-in, and I’ll be happy to help you learn minimal WordPress – enough to create posts and events, anyway. Email me at rxaver@att.net and we’ll get started.
